Alcohol and Smoking
Awareness Session

Aim

By the end of the session a young person will have learnt about risks involved in alcohol and smoking. The session will be informative and in part will be fun and interactive.
 
Young People’s Learning

  • Participants will learn the facts about smoking and alcohol through informal learning that is interactive.
  • Be better informed to enable them to stay safer.
  • They will have opportunities to ask questions.
  • Develop pride and confidence in learning activities they have not tried before.
  • Encouraged others to take part – developing their team skills.
  • Learnt to take care of resources.
  • Learnt more about healthy lifestyles and choices.
 
Self-Development

  • Developed their self-awareness around peer pressure.
  • Enabled them to make better informed choices for themselves.
  • Increased self-confidence.

Our current charge is £45 per hour, this includes, instructors, resources, all equipment needed to run the session and our expenses for bringing the activity to you.
 
Maximum group size 12 young people.
 
We will need to deliver this session indoors and will need tables to use.
 
We are happy to involve staff and volunteers however the priority will be the young people.
 
We will need to be aware of any medical conditions participants may have and we can provide a consent form if needed
