Meet our Volunteers

Jessica - Volunteer

Rina - Volunteer

Jessica has four years of experience working with young people as a Young Leader for the Scouts.  She has taught people of all ages in archery and other activities such as arts and crafts, drama and face painting.
Rina is a student studying Law. She has been a Member of UK Youth Parliament and Charnwood Youth Council.  She is passionately interested in getting young people involved in their communities.  Rina is also a young Ambassador for East Midlands Lions Club. She has raised the funding to implement the Side by Side Mental Health Project.

Michael - Volunteer

Owen - Volunteer

Michael has 4 years experience working with young people, primarily with Charnwood Youth Council, having previously been a member since 2007.  One of his biggest passions is ensuring that young people have the say that they deserve on issues affecting them.   Aside from volunteering, he’s very into media and can normally be found at work driving his bus!
Owen has 4 years of experience working within the youth service as a young person. He started out volunteering at the Charnwood Youth Council and has since moved into working in other areas such as working at a youth centre and becoming a lead volunteer at a local charity shop; Sue Ryder.

David - Volunteer

Pamela - Volunteer

David has 11 years of experience in working with young people aged from 4 to 17 with 1st Loughborough Boys Brigade.  David looks after the Anchor Section for, he also runs activities on BB Summer Camps.  He is a member of the Trinity Methodist Church where he runs the Junior Church or Sunday School section for 11 years and over.  David has been an assistant youth worker with the local youth club. 
Pamela has 10 years of experience in working with young people with the 1st Loughborough Boys Brigade.  She helps to run the Anchor Section for ages 4-11.  Pam also goes on Boys Brigade camps as a cook .  Pamela has had 4 years in youth work as one of the youth club leaders held at Trinity Church.  Pamela is also currently a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Loughborough as a Church Council Member, a Church Steward as well as volenteering with the Sunday School for 25 years

Janine - Volunteer

Luke - Volunteer

Janine has over ten years’ experience of working with children of all ages and abilities which has resulted in her gaining a teaching assistant qualification.  She has taken part in various work experience and voluntary roles for local charities like the National Childbirth Trust and the Scout Association.  In my spare time she enjoys looking after her daughter and enjoying arts & crafts and the great outdoors.
Luke is a member of 1st Loughborough Boys' Brigade and is working towards his 'Queen's badge', he currently helps with the under 8's. Luke is working towards his apprenticeship in hospitality and holds food and hygiene as well as City and Guilds in food and preparation.  His volunteering roles have been helping run fundraising and recruiting stands as well as junior stewarding roles within the Church as well as junior cook at BB camps.
